Taniaburg is a wonderful base for this.
Here you will stay in the beautiful nature reserve ‘het Leeuwarder Bos’, north of Leeuwarden, surrounded by peace, forest, water features and bird sounds. And yet you have the Leeuwarden city center within 10 minutes cycling distance. The authentic center has everything to offer you, shops, museums, theatre, film and history.
But the rest of Fryslân can also be discovered on beautiful bike rides or by car. A visit to the 11 cities, including Dokkum, Franeker and Harlingen, should not be missed.

We have camping pitches for caravans, trailer tents and tents.

available for hikers, cyclists or guests with SUP or canoe. You come with a small tent and use little space. Possibly possible with electricity
camper spot
You can spend the night in a camper, small or large, on a paved camper pitch with us.
Hikerscabin
We have 2 hiker’s cabins, where a maximum of 4 people can spend the night per cabin.
guestrooms
Our (two) cozy guest rooms are ideal for a short stay to discover the city of Leeuwarden.
appartment
A beautiful cozy holiday home for 2 people, built into part of the ‘old hay barn’ with its own garden and terrace.
Opening hours
We are open every day during the season. This means that you can arrive and depart on all days of the week.
The reception opening hours are:
